One thing you may have noticed I did not put down is "work". Yes, yes, the rumors are true. I gave my notice last week; this Thursday is my last day working at the hospital I've been employed at for seven years. Its was decision I had agonized over for almost a year, and I believe the time was finally right to stop working. My class load is getting harder and more intense, I have two children now in school and activities, I've received a new calling that requires more time and effort and frankly, I couldn't find any babysitters! I know that sounds silly, but I've always found wonderful, kind, patient people who love my children. The past month I haven't found a soul, or at least someone I felt good about. So, after much thinking, planning, praying, wondering, figuring, hoping and finally deciding, I felt letting go of my job was the best decision for me and my family.
So far I have continued to feel good (and relieved) about that choice, so I hope it was the correct one. However, if any of you are worried about my decision, feel free to send $20 and a note of concern to me at any time! :-)
Looking into the future, I plan on graduating with my associates in generals with an elementary cluster in July 2013, which will help me get a job with the school district for next year. I will also begin classes full time in the fall of 2013, with a graduation date of April 2015. Wish me luck. I'll need it.
Well, if you are still with me after that long-winded explanation and jaunt through my insecurities, here are a few pictures of Amelia and Cooper in their "autumn jackets". Those differ from "summer jackets" in thickness, for those of you who may be confused.

Amelia and Cooper are enjoying school so far. Amelia has even more friends that she planned on (her words) and a full social calendar. Cooper has made a tentative friend named Hunter. Hunter apparently is "a nice boy who does mean things" sometimes, including calling Cooper a baby on the first day of school. Where does Hunter sit at school you might ask? Oh yes....RIGHT NEXT TO COOPER. Cooper isn't worried, however. He assured me Hunter would be punished for his mean actions. Santa will only bring him "snow poop" instead of gifts for Christmas this year. Because, you know, coal is sooooooo 2011.

We soooo love you family Jill and wish we could still be close enough to baby sit. Although it will be tough without your job, I am glad that you can finally be rid of that PLACE! You should have a huge celebration on Thursday. I burnt my scrubs in a fire pit...
You are an awesome mom and an amazing person! I will have a Little Red Riding Hood Cape in the mail in a week or so for Amelia for Halloween, if she still wants it. I also have a Harry Potter robe, a Peter Pan costume or a pirate top if Cooper wants any of those. Mandy=)
PS. Apparently when you start a blog it becomes your identity, so Davis Early Intervention is me.
Luckily you are Wonder Woman/Mom! I have been amazed at you from the start of your single mom journey, so there is no doubt in my mind that you will manage it with bells on...especially when you get math out of the way. I believe if you read the scriptures diligently, you will find that math is a tool of the devil!
Comments running 3 to zip! I think if Heavenly Father answers your prayers through friends and relatives, you made the right choice!!! Good luck with your new adventures!

Jill, we are wondering what Hunter's last name is. We had a little boy in primary before we left named Hunter. I bet some of our kids are in Cooper's class. We can totally see our Hunter saying that to Cooper. Those we sure interesting primary classes.
Out of that whole thing I'm just wondering why you need jackets in the summer. ;)-
I'm SO, SO glad you are going to have even more time to devote to your favorite math class. You are amazing and my idol.
Seriously. Love you!
Yay for being done with that place!! I'm excited for you being able to stay home on weekends and weekdays and starting on the next exciting chapter! Love you!!
wow, i'm sure that decision was difficult, but it sounds like it will be wonderful for you and your kids. i don't know how you do it all. seriously. being a STAH mom has it's own set of unique challenges, but i'm sure you'll find the blessings outweigh the challenges! good luck. maybe i'll send you a card and a $20 ;)
