J: You can make cookies by yourself when we get home!
(Amelia was really quiet): Are you sure you want me to?
J: Yes.
A: By myself?
J: Yes.
A: Will you watch me?
J: Yes.
A: Are you sure that's what you want me to do?
J: Yes.
We got home and I set up the KitchenAid, brought out a step stool for her, got down all the ingredients and handed her the recipe.
A: Now, you're sure you want me to make the cookies.....all by myself?
J: YES.
So she did.
In other news, Amelia went to the dentist on Wednesday (just a check-up, so no screaming) and has no cavities! She does have two teeth that need to come out so spacers can go in. The dentist said he could pull them, or she could do it at home. Amelia vehemently promised she'd do it. The dentist said he wanted one out that night, and the other by the weekend.
Both teeth are still in.
Cooper is rockin' preschool and gymnastics and doing everything he can to "be a five-year old", so he's ready for his birthday in a month. This sometimes includes being "awesome".

Did you know that she was selling those cookies for $1 each! I negotiated a 2 for $1 though. She's a firecracker, that one! And Cooper, well he's Cooper. It was fun to see them!
those cookies look awesome how come they weren't there the other night, and yes cooper is awesome.... i wonder where he learned that word and other things???
