Last weekend we went to Bear Lake for the first time. David's family has a cabin there, so we could spend lots of time at the beach. Amelia and Cooper LOVED it. I even liked it, and that's saying alot! We arrived Friday around lunchtime and immediately headed to the lake. The water there is so clear and blue--it's gorgeous. We swam and played a few hours and headed back up the mountain. Mom, Dad, Courtney and Andy came up later, and we had a great night.
Saturday we woke up to a rip-roarin' thunderstorm. It was amazing, and lasted almost two hours--and every minute of it Amelia was huddled under a blanket whimpering. Cooper didn't mind, he likes the "funder". We went back to the beach after lunch and stayed for about 4 hours. Amelia was in the water almost the whole time. Cooper stayed in awhile, then came on shore to dig for buried treasure in the sand.
Sunday we had a late breakfast and hung out until I left with the kids in the afternoon. We had a great time, and a big thanks to David and his family for letting us stay in their cabin!! (Oh, and to Katie for arranging everything else!)
Amelia jumped in the minute we got there and had to be dragged out later!
Cooper took a little more time but after a few minutes he warmed up to the water and splashed everywhere.
The shoreline. The lake was so high the trees that normally are on the shore were underwater!
Amelia's hole.

The tabernacle in Paris. I told the kids the name of the town and Amelia said excitedly, "Can we go see the Eiffel Tower?"
